First Steps is a friendly, supportive place for parents and carers and their little ones. It’s always busy, and a great place to meet the parents, grandparents and child-minders who are doing the same wonderful job as you – bringing up pre-school children.
My daughter asks every Thursday “are we going to First Steps?” We love the variety – toys, singing, and the home-made cake!”

The group is held in the Youth Centre opposite the main church building. During the morning there’s lots of time for free-play, a group Bible story, craft, songs and rhymes. There’s also great coffee and homemade cake for adults every week, and a snack for children, but please bring your child a drink from home.
This group is free to attend but you are welcome to make a donation to support the running costs. No booking necessary – just turn up!
